35 Years of Steel.
Our Name. Our Standards.
A new company built on three decades of family expertise in the Indian stainless steel industry.
Three Decades in the Making
Experience You Can't Manufacture
There is no shortcut to knowing this industry well. You cannot read your way to understanding why a buyer in pharmaceuticals insists on a 2B surface finish on SS 316L, or why a fabricator on an offshore project will specify Super Duplex 2507 over standard Duplex 2205.
You cannot learn from a brochure how to read a Mill Test Report and verify whether the heat number matches the material, or how to navigate documentation requirements for an LC-backed export to the Middle East.
That knowledge only comes from years of working inside the industry — from handling the material, talking to mills, solving problems for buyers and seeing firsthand what goes wrong when a supplier cuts corners.
At Jagannath Stainless, that knowledge comes built in — not as a marketing claim, but as the literal foundation on which this company was built.
What We're Building
To carry forward a legacy of integrity and technical knowledge — and to build a stainless steel trading company that industrial buyers across India and internationally can depend on completely.
We supply the right grade, with verified documentation, delivered reliably — and we stand behind every order with the full weight of our experience and our reputation.
What We Stand For
Grade Accuracy — Always
Every order is supplied exactly as confirmed — with original Mill Test Reports covering chemical composition, mechanical properties and applicable standards. What you order is what you receive.
Honest, Technical Communication
We speak the language of our buyers — procurement managers, project engineers, import buyers. Accurate information on availability, lead times and pricing, without overpromising.
Legacy-Backed Reliability
Our network of mill relationships, logistics partners and freight forwarding contacts has been built over decades. That translates into better sourcing, faster availability and more competitive pricing.
A Long-Term Approach
We are not building a transactional business. We are building a company that clients return to for years — because the experience is consistently professional, technically sound and commercially honest.
Why Mumbai Works For You
Mumbai is not just where we are located — it is a strategic asset for every client we serve. As India's largest commercial and port city, Mumbai gives us direct access to major shipping lines for export, proximity to the country's largest steel stockists, and the logistics infrastructure to move material quickly.
For buyers across India, it means faster dispatch and competitive freight costs. For international importers in the Middle East, Africa or Europe, it means shorter transit times and smooth export documentation through one of Asia's busiest trade hubs.
"I grew up in this business. My father spent over 35 years building his name in the Mumbai stainless steel market — and I spent 10 years working in the industry myself before starting Jagannath Stainless.
I know what a serious buyer needs: the right grade, the right paperwork, honest answers and a supplier who picks up the phone. That is what I have committed to delivering from day one.
We are a young company with deep roots. We don't have decades of our own invoices to show you — but we have something that matters more: we know this industry from the inside, we have the relationships to source what you need, and we have the integrity to never compromise on what we supply.
I started Jagannath Stainless to build something I'm genuinely proud of. Every order we fulfil is a step towards that."— Founder, Jagannath Stainless LLP

Every Grade. Every Form.
One Reliable Source.
Stainless steel and high-performance alloys in all major product forms — pipes, tubes, bars, flanges, fittings, fasteners, gaskets and structural sections. Small trial orders or bulk tonnage.
At Jagannath Stainless, we maintain ready stock of the most commonly demanded grades and sizes. For non-standard sizes, special grades or large quantities, we source directly from reputed mills with full traceability and original Mill Test Reports. All material supplied to ASTM, ASME, DIN, EN and BS standards.
Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes
Pipes and tubes are among the most widely used forms of stainless steel — from process piping in pharmaceutical and chemical plants to structural use in construction and food processing. We supply seamless and welded pipes across all major grades, sizes, schedules and finishes.
Seamless Pipes & Tubes
Manufactured without a weld seam — superior pressure resistance and uniformity. Preferred for high-pressure, high-temperature and corrosion-critical applications in oil & gas, petrochemical, power and pharma.
Welded Pipes & Tubes
Produced by rolling and welding strip. Cost-effective for general industrial, structural and food-grade applications. Available in bright annealed and pickled finishes.
Hollow Sections
Square and rectangular tubes for structural fabrication, architectural applications and equipment manufacturing across standard SS grades.
Instrumentation Tubes
Small-diameter, close-tolerance tubing for instrumentation, hydraulics and analytical equipment. SS 304, 316, 316L with tight dimensional tolerances.
Stainless Steel Bars & Rods
Fundamental to precision engineering, fabrication, machining and structural construction. We supply round, flat, square and hex bars across all major SS and EN grades — standard mill lengths and cut-to-size.
Round Bars
Most widely used bar profile. Hot-rolled, cold-drawn and centreless-ground finishes. Engineering, machining, shaft manufacturing, fastener production.
Flat Bars
Rectangular cross-section for fabrication, supports, brackets, frames and architectural steelwork. Wide range of widths and thicknesses.
Square Bars
General fabrication, tooling, fixtures and architectural projects across all standard grades.
Hex Bars
Hexagonal profile for fastener, bolt and nut manufacture. Commonly in SS 304 and 316 for corrosion-critical applications.
Stainless Steel Flanges
Critical connection components in any industrial piping system — joining pipes, valves, pumps and equipment with a bolted, sealed interface. Complete range across all pressure classes and grades with full mill documentation.
Slip-On (SOF)
Slips over pipe, fillet-welded. Cost-effective for low to medium pressure.
Weld Neck (WNF)
Long tapered hub, strongest type. Mandatory for high-pressure, high-temperature service.
Blind
Solid disc to seal pipe ends. For future access or pressure testing.
Socket Weld (SWF)
Pipe inserted into socket, fillet-welded. Small-bore, high-pressure.
Threaded
Screwed connection, no welding. Low-pressure, non-cyclic service.
Lap Joint
Used with stub end, free rotation for bolt alignment.
Orifice
For flow measurement with orifice plates. Supplied in matched pairs.
Long Weld Neck
Extended neck for pressure vessel and heat exchanger nozzles.
Spectacle Blind
Figure-8 shape for isolating piping sections during maintenance.
Buttweld Fittings
Welded directly to the pipe end-to-end, creating a seamless, flush bore joint with no flow restriction and no crevice for corrosion. Mandatory in pharmaceutical, food-grade and critical process applications.
Why Buttweld Over Other Fitting Types
- Flush internal bore — no crevice for corrosion or contamination, essential in pharma and food-grade piping
- No flow restriction — bore matches pipe bore exactly, eliminating turbulence
- Strongest joint type — properly welded buttweld joint is as strong as the parent pipe
- Full radiographic and UT inspection possible — meets strictest NDT requirements
90° LR Elbows
Centre-to-face = 1.5× NPD. Standard directional change, smooth flow.
90° SR Elbows
Centre-to-face = 1× NPD. Space-restricted layouts.
45° Elbows
Angled change without full 90° turn.
180° Return Bends
U-shaped, reverses flow. Heat exchangers, coils.
Equal Tees
Three same-bore openings. Perpendicular branching.
Reducing Tees
Branch outlet smaller than run pipe.
Concentric Reducers
Centrelines aligned. Vertical pipework.
Eccentric Reducers
One flat side. Horizontal pipework — prevents air pockets.
End Caps
Permanent pipe-end closures. Dead-end lines, testing.
Stub Ends
Used with lap joint flanges. Only stub end needs process grade.
Cross Fittings
Four-outlet for four-way junctions.
Lateral Tees
Branch at 45° to main run.
Forged Fittings
Compact, high-integrity fittings from solid forged bar stock — significantly higher strength than cast alternatives. Used in small-bore, high-pressure systems where robust connections are non-negotiable.
